The training addresses a number of topics, some of which are: acquiring the tools and skills of how to share one's faith based on the Scriptures; how to talk about Jesus without turning people off, etc. ACT NOW! This is your opportunity to learn how to participate in the Church's mission to evangelize.

SESSION ONE: Introduction

Purpose: To provide an understanding of the purpose of the training.

SESSION TWO: Some Moments In Evangelization

Purpose: To present some of the moments in evangelization and give a brief explanation of those moments.

SESSION THREE: God's Plan

Purpose:

1. To come to an understanding of God's plan, as it unfolded over the centuries, to give His Holy Spirit to each and every person who believes in His Son, Jesus Christ.
2. To realize, as we see God's plan unfolding, how much God loves us and wants us to have life and have it abundantly.

SESSION FOUR: The Good News Proclamation - A Synthesis

Purpose:

1. To realize that as evangelizers our purpose is to proclaim a Person, Jesus Christ, who is the Good News, who is the Gospel.
2. To look at the apostles and see what their concerns were in proclaiming Jesus.

SESSION FIVE: The Problem -- Sin

Purpose: To come to the realization that: All men and women have sinned and are separated from God and, as a result, cannot know God's love nor share in God's life with others.

SESSION SIX: Jesus: Savior and Lord

PURPOSE: To come to an appreciation that Jesus Christ is the Answer. He is the only One who can give you the power to live this life abundantly. Through Him you can know God's love and share in God's life with others.

SESSION SEVEN: Invitation and Commitment

PURPOSE:

1. To learn how to bring a person to Jesus Christ.
2. To come to the realization that God's plan of salvation for all men and women requires a RESPONSE: You must accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, receive His Holy Spirit and so experience His power to live this new life.

SESSION EIGHT: Personal Testimony

PURPOSE:

1. To look at: What it means to witness and guidelines for effective personal testimony including some biblical examples of personal testimony.
2. To learn how to write one's own personal testimony in clear and concise terms.

SESSION NINE: Pastoral Follow-Up

PURPOSE: To learn the essentials of effective pastoral follow-up and the importance of incorporation into the Church.

SESSION TEN: Establishing Relationship

PURPOSE:

1. To learn how to establish relationship.
2. To develop a growing realization that to relate lovingly with others is a vital moment in evangelization.
3. To develop the ability to identify with the person with whom one is relating.

SESSION ELEVEN: Reaping the Harvest

PURPOSE:

1. To come to la deeper understanding of the role of the evangelizer as one who is to reap the harvest.
2. To realize that the season for reaping is always NOW!
3. To learn how to overcome the challenges that confront the evangelizer.

SESSION TWELVE: Jesus Crist, The Evangelizer

PURPOSE:

1. To learn how to evangelize by looking at Jesus, the Evangelizer.
2. To come to a knowledge and understanding of His strategy for evangelization.

SESSION THIRTEEN: Wrap-Up

PURPOSE:

1. To review the evangelizer's responsibilities and where they terminate.
2. To consider the relationship between total evangelization and Church growth.
